I’ve been an attendant for your flight,

Pretzels and drinks at such great heights.

Done some ghostwriting (while still alive!)

Taught preschool kids, aged one to five.

Walker of dogs, seller of sheds—

Entrepreneurship is nothing to dread!

Newspaper reporter and bus driver’s aide,

Two jobs where connections were easily made.

And for all this time, I’ve been writing, too.
